It was my first time going here. My dog Lacy was having a problem and I wanted her yo be seen right away. They take walk-ins and I was able to get in within 10-15 minutes of registering with them. The people at the desk were nice. The vet …

Response from the owner

Thank you so much for your kind words, Donna. We really appreciate you taking the time out to share your experience with us. In the future, you are always welcome inside our lobby especially on the chilly Ohio days. Urgent care visits are still treated curbside but we do our best to accommodate requests to go into a room to speak with the doctor face-to-face! Hope to see you and your loved one soon! I took my Bearded Dragon over for a check up because he seemed kind of down in the dumps but Dr. Bergstrom was an expert in examining him (I was afraid of MBD starting), giving some advice on food prep and also about bettering his habitat. …

I took my dog here because I noticed he wasn't acting normal and kept licking at his paw. I have a larger breed - A one year old Rottweiler. The receptionist male was friendly.
The staff who came to get my dog was okay. They seemed timid and scared of my dog from the beginning. Something was off but couldn't put my finger on it. My dog is a puppy and gets excited when meeting new people, however he was also nervous and scared as he has never had an injury or anything before. His stress levels were high and this was new to him. They took him to the back to try and see what was going on with him. I never met the doctor once nor was given the option to go back there with him. I told the receptionist what I thought was going on but never got to talk or meet the doctor?? Five minutes after he goes back, the doctor calls me and tells me my dog isn't being cooperative, aggressive and had to muzzle him. He's never been aggressive towards anyone ever in his life. He was in a high stress situation, not feeling well, fearful and I was not back there with him which probably made him even more scared and stressed. The staff almost seemed scared of him, timid and seemed like they did not know what to do with him. When the tech brought my dog out to me he completely calmed down and laid next to me normally and calm while we waited for the “medications” he was prescribed.
Again, the receptionist was nice and I don't think the place is awful, I just don't think this is the center for me and my dog. I was charged but they didn't do anything for me or my pet other than give me pills to sedate him before our “next visit”. I went to another vet and the experience was completely different and a much better fit for my pup. They were able to find the infection safely and treat him comfortably. Absolutely no aggression with my dog during his experience with the other vet center and there was no need to “muzzle” him.

We are sorry to hear you did not have a positive experience with us. Our urgent care visits are still curbside due to the high demand but we do our best to accommodate requests to go into rooms with the doctor. If there is something else we could have done differently to make your visit more enjoyable, please let us know.
